Munich Re needed to translate complex financial and medical concepts into concise, brand-true video assets. The audience spans carrier executives, underwriting advisors, distribution leaders, and advisor networks. Every word had to balance clarity with compliance. No oversimplification that could create regulatory risk.
Two engagements across 2024-2025: one flagship interview film on accelerated underwriting, then a full 4-chapter series on Critical Illness insurance with companion articles, LinkedIn shorts, and email distribution assets.
Sony FX3 (main) and A7SIII (B-cam) recording 10-bit S-Log3 for maximum color latitude. A7III on a locked-off wide for reference and safety. Tamron 35-150mm f/2.8, Sony 85mm f/1.8, Sony 16-35mm f/2.8.
Aputure 300D II with lantern softbox for a soft, even key with natural falloff. Shot at Munich Re's office to anchor credibility. Variable daylight created color temperature drift between takes, requiring a custom post-production pipeline to normalize across angles.
Multi-cam sequence in Premiere Pro with executive-grade pacing. Branded title cards, lower thirds, and interstitials aligned to Munich Re's global identity. No dense on-screen condition lists. Safe margins and legible type hierarchy. Dialogue cleanup, light bus compression, and transparent limiting. Music bed supports continuity without masking medical nuance.
The CI series was designed from day one for modular distribution: full master, 4 chapter cuts aligned to companion articles, and 2-3 shorts per chapter for LinkedIn. Every asset scaled across web embeds, email nurture flows, conference microsites, and sales enablement.
